Specifications

This machine is the key equipment to do submerged arc welding on box beam, its movement is very stable and is very convenient for operation.

It consists of traveling cantilever structure, submerged arc welders, flux recovery unit, welding gun adjusting unit, welding gun tracing unit, welding wire tube etc.

The equipment is running in longitudinal along the rails on the driving of traveling wheel by motor, gearbox, and reducer. Adopting AC transducer motor---transducer power control to realize the big range speed adjustment, thus to solve the contradiction of high rapid speed and low working speed.

There are 2 sets of lifting arms fitted on girder. The lifting arm can realize the adjusting on the welding gun on left/right horizontal position and up/down vertical position though the movement of reducer, gearbox, rack etc. the 2 sets of welding gun can be adjusted at same time or separately. Adopting the welding seam tracer can realize the automatic tracing welding seam in small range.

The flux recovery unit can realize the flux recovery effectively. The max capacity of the flux container is 100KG.

When welding, the work-piece is feeded by the rollers to the equipment working range, thus the work-piece no movement and the machine structure moving to finish the welding. Then the work-piece is transported by rollers and working together with overturning equipment to overturn the work-piece at 180°. After overturning 180°, then transport the work-piece back to the working range of gantry welding machine to finish the submerged welding on another welding seam.
